Round Seven: Day Fourteen

June 17, 2008

Sorry, sorry, sorry!

I’ve been immobile and the internet cafe wouldn’t recognise my USB drive. Also, I have two days in which to paint a life-sized statue of Jesus for World Youth Day (true!)

Round Seven, Day 10

Heya! Sorry this is a day late. Scanning issues. No internet at home. The usual song and dance.

Again, there is a larger version of this at:

Round Seven: Day 6

June 6, 2008

Here is page 2 of my story. It occurred to me yesterday when I was drawing this that it’s a bit like something Anders Nilsen would draw, only more cluttered and petty. Also, the text is a bit too small, so I’ve posted a slightly larger version at:

Round Seven: Day 2

June 4, 2008

Hi, my name is Leigh Rigozzi and I have not drawn a narrative comic in over a year.

My first comic is late because I’ve been working unexpected double shifts all week, so apologies are due.

I’ve actually made myself about an hour late for my second shift today trying to post this damn thing, so you’d better not give me a hard time. And clearly I’m completely non-tech savvy, because I STILL can’t figure out how to do it. I’ll try and fix it tonight. Here’s a link, which doesn’t seem to work:

*edit: fixed*

Artist Introduction: Leigh Rigozzi

June 1, 2008

Hi there! I’m Leigh Rigozzi, an artist/caretaker living in Sydney. I just finished my Master’s in Visual Art last year and now find myself in the improbable position of having to teach a short course in zine drawing.
I am doing comic rehab to try and get over the recent loss of an entire project’s worth of drawings. I’ve had a concept kicking around in my head for the last few months, so it’s finally time to bring it to fruition. It has been over a year since I attempted tp produce any sort of narrative, so I hope readers will excuse my extremely rusty skills.
