As suspected, this has made me really appreciate (even more!) the skill of comic artists. Can see I need to spent much more time on actual drawing. SO much harder than blogging!

p.s. The pram was a gift from the in-laws

    Hey well done!

The story is good! Even though you are starting out with drawing your characters have energy.

This is great! I feel so proud that we’re hosting your first comic ever! The drawings are very successfully getting the point across – i love the transcendental face of the natural birth lady and your embarassed blush in the last panel. The breastfeeding pic is really nice too.

    Onya Emily!

I like the mothers group “big important statement” face.

Yeah, parenting. You never get exactly what you planned, hey?

i like the directness of this first comic, like thinking out loud.

i was asked to ‘judge’ a bunch of rmit interior design students first comics and that experience really rammed home the idea that some people have an innate comic sense…. they generally (with a few exceptions) had no energy, drive, or even visual sense to them.

you should be proud of this one, very interested and excited to see where the rehab experience teakes you.

is it rehabilitation if you have no past comics to be rehabbed from?

  6. Emily Says:

Thanks everyone for the great comments!
